Mike Bogart is an Adjunct Instructor of Intelligence Studies at ÈÕº«ÂÒÂ× University. Mike teaches INTL 510, INTL 520, and INTL 540 at ÈÕº«ÂÒÂ×. Mike also works as Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University (GMU) and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), teaching undergraduate courses for the Criminology, Law and Society and Criminal Justice and Investigative Forensics departments, respectively. Courses taught at GMU include Intelligence Analysis Techniques. Courses taught at UMGC include Digital Forensics in the Criminal Justice System and Introduction to Security Management.Â
Mike currently works in Global Security for a major international financial services firm and has held previous positions as head of NAMR Intelligence, Chief Intelligence Analyst, Senior Border Security Intelligence Analyst, and Business Consultant for various MNCs, specialized security companies, and a consulting firm.Â
Mike is an active member in the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP), InfraGard, the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), and the Domestic Security Alliance Council (DSAC). Mike is a Certified Social Media Intelligence Analyst (SMIA) and is actively pursuing a Certified Threat Manager (CTM) certification through ATAP.Â
