Most pediatric dentists are trained to perform sedation dentistry. However, Dr. Maye ONLY performs pediatric sedation dentistry. Approximately 100 surgeries per month, and 1000 per year! Therefore, we have LOTS OF EXPERIENCE.
Our new, state of the art practice, was built solely for pediatric sedation dentistry. It is conveniently located on the campus of West Boca Medical Center for both increased safety and convenience for our patients. It was built for the patient’s comfort and safety in mind. With the awesome Space Theme, the children are excited to enter the office. The fear and anxiety of dentistry are immediately dulled by the atmosphere of the office.
Also, we are currently the ONLY office in South Florida which is solely dedicated to Pediatric Sedation dentistry. Therefore, patients literally travel from all over the state of Florida for our services.
Dr. Frank Maye
My name is Dr. Frank Maye. I am born and raised here in South Florida and grew up in Coral Springs, FL. Graduated from Coral Springs High in 1994, and was then accepted into an early admissions program for dentistry at the University of Florida. This allowed me to skip one year of college, while still obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. I then completed dental school, also at the University of Florida in 2001. After dental school, I spent 2 years studying pediatric dentistry, also at the University of Florida. I was blessed enough to study under the tutelage of Dr. Robert Primosch (an author of one of two textbooks used in pediatric dental residencies throughout the USA).
After finishing my studies, I opened a pediatric dental office in Boca Raton, FL in 2003. Shortly after opening my practice, I noticed that there was a large community need for pediatric sedation dentistry. Therefore I began to offer these services in my office. A few years later, and I found myself providing hundreds of surgeries per year. Before I knew it, I was swamped and had to hire other dentists to work in the office with me. Then, years ago, I, personally, limited myself to only practicing pediatric sedation dentistry. I found out that I LOVE it! Therefore I decided to open the all pediatric sedation dental office that we have today.
Personally, I am married to my beautiful wife, Rachel Maye, and we have two boys together, Brayden and Bryce. In my spare time, I like to exercise and weight train.

Yari grew up just down the coast in Hollywood, FL. When she’s not busy keeping the office in order, she loves to watch a good movie, like Love & Basketball with her German Shepard, Roxy, and her Huskimo, Max. Yari is also an avid softball player and even finds time to coach a team. Around the Boca Raton area, Yari loves exploring new areas and trying out new restaurants. She says if she could have a superpower it would be super strength. She’s already our superhero with all she does to show how much she cares for the families and staff here!

Jamie found her way to EZzz Smiles after growing up on Long Beach Island, NJ. Having grown up with the ocean, you can often find Jamie out boating or spending time at the beach. She also stays active by working out and partaking in kickboxing. Sometimes she prefers just being a spectator and enjoys the occasional local sporting event. On the rare occasion, she’s sitting still, you might find Jamie and her Maltipoo Mac watch a favorite movie like The Goonies or Varsity Blues. Jamie has said that her favorite part of her job is the rewarding feeling get gets by helping the kids that visit her. Our reward is getting to work with her every day!

Monica found her way to EZzz Smiles all the way from Pereira, Columbia, South America. Here in Florida, she and her husband love being active and often find themselves at the gym or up in West Palm Beach hiking the trails at Okeeheelee Park. When she’s not out and about, Monica finds time to curl up with a good book or watch movies like Mary Poppins with her pomeranian. Monica says what she loves most about working at our dental practice is her coworkers and Dr. Maye. She states the one superpower she wishes she had is to be very wise. We know it was very wise of us that we found her!
